Maple Leaf Shelter in Meadowbrook Shares the Good News and Looks for Support

MC2’s shelter partner, Seattle Housing and Resource Effort (SHARE) is joining a coalition with Transit Riders Union, Nickelsville, WHEEL (Women’s Housing Equality and Enhancement League)and SAFE (Standing Against Foreclosures and Evictions) to encourage the Committee to End Homelessness in King County to add 1000 new beds by Summer 2014. 

 

Two events are scheduled to advocate for fair housing in Seattle (Committee to End Homelessness in King County/CEHKC mtg NOV 20, 830AM Seattle City Hall) and fund continued temporary housing at Nickelsville (NOV 16 Pancake Breakfast, 8-11AM at Keystone Congregational Church in Wallingford).  Please make note of flyers with more important information to help those interested get involved.
