Getting ready for Spring planting began in earnest this late Sunday in March. Volunteers had a repeat scare with the second incident in a year of a car leaving the road and landing in the community garden’s hillside strawberry patch. Planting new plants and fixing the mess left by the accident was the agenda for the day.
In the orchard three types of Mulberry trees were planted. Located in the Edible Hedge, the planting site lends itself to good light and water runoff. Here we go round the Mulberry trees…..thank you to all for their valuable time.
