The Lake City Holiday Project (LCHP) heads into its 33rd year with the goal of supporting human service providers in NE Seattle. Engaging residents at these locations in this effort allows candidates, in most cases, to support a challenging family budget. MC2’s Project also provides a gift card to each family as an additional support.
The 2018 campaign has the good fortune of working with Windermere agents Mary Anderson and Marella Alejandrino again. The Windermere/Greenwood office has been a generous supporter over the years and this year is another ‘good neighbor’ effort. Raising funds and donating allows MC2 to cover (literally and figuratively) with new coats, 50 children this year.
Meadowbrook (one of 5 neighborhoods in the Lake City District) is home to three schools and a Seattle Parks Community Center; quite a concentration of learning and foot traffic. This also provides an opportunity to keep families strong and healthy. We ‘support, educate and engage the community’ and appreciate our partnership with Windermere/Greenwood. Thank you Mary and Marella at the Greenwood offices. We are ‘thankful’ for the culture of CARE at Windermere.
