Having graduated from the University of Montana with a teaching degree in Math and Music; she went back to school in 1980 and received an MBA in Finance and MIS and a Masters in Professional Accounting both from the University of Washington. 

Retired from the Bush School as Director of Finance this Wedgwood resident is a member of the Seattle Choral Company.  As a mother of 3 daughters, she enjoys time with her 8 grandchildren.

Presently this long time Wedgwood resident is  the Community Outreach Director for Maple Leaf Lutheran Church; Terry is a B.A. graduate in Education from PLU. Married with two daughters, he enjoys gardening, basketball, baseball and watching his younger daughter play soccer


Karl Fritschrl

As a certified public accountant, Karl has worked for one of the largest non-profit healthcare systems in the country for the past ten years as their Director of Taxes. He received his B.B.A degree in Accounting from Pacific Lutheran University. In addition to accounting, Karl is a musician, having served as a church organist for 33 years (25 of those at Maple Leaf Lutheran Church). Karl and his partner of 17 years live in the Meadowbrook neighborhood. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music, travelling, cruising in the Caribbean and assisting with the Maple Leaf Lutheran Church Children’s Christmas Program.

As a past coordinator for the afterschool youth program, Karen is a health care professional with BSN in nursing and masters in health education; she has 26 years experience in health care delivery system.As a married mother of two adult daughters, she is a Wedgwood resident who enjoys gardening, hiking reading and her two grandkids



Diana Koala, Secretary

Diana Koala, Secretary 

A single mother of two, she has lived in Meadowbrook for 13 years. She is a UW grad and postgrad in medicine.  Having served in the Peace Corps in W. Africa she thinks of MC2 as an extension of the work she once did abroad. Gardening and reading are two of her hobbies


Sue Wallace

Sue Wallace is a retired teacher and teacher educator with 30 years of experience in education. She has a BA in Spanish, an MA in Romance Languages and literature and an M.Ed. in ESL/Bilingual Education. She and her husband have lived in Wedgwood since 1973.

Sue enjoys time with her 4 grandchildren, hiking, travel, reading, cooking and taking advantage of senior rates for classes at the UW.


Lee LeCroix

Lee LeCroix

A Maple Leaf resident, Lee donates time and talents to Sustainable NE Seattle’s Tool Library (, the Community Shelter Meal, Meadowbrook Garden and Orchard, as well as the Community Kitchen at Meadowbrook Community Center.  She was also instrumental in receiving the Cleanscapes Grant to upgrade the Meadowbrook Community Center/Seattle Parks main kitchen.

An avid gardener, full time educator, bicyclist and mom, Lee is instrumental in speaking to issues of justice and hunger; MC2 is a stronger organization with her presence and we appreciate her time, input and skills.
