CARE for another

Northeast Seattle’s full time shelter in Lake City’s Meadowbrook neighborhood began in March, 2020. With 16 residents settled in, many in community have been able to send support with meals, and other ancillary CARE. The coed shelter has been fortunate with zero outbreaks.

The shelter relies heavily on the food bank in Lake City. Just a ‘stones throw’ from the church shelter, residents get on the ‘65’ bus and rely on the kindness of many in the Lake City community. Thank you, Lake City.

If you’re able, pick a date here and drop off at the church-sited shelter( https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/10c0b49aba72aa02-maple ). Residents are appreciative of all the good will. Residents also access church grown veggies and fruit and are participating in various outdoor garden work. THANKS, residents!
