In the mid-1990’s, Maple Leaf Lutheran Church welcomed SHARE shelter part time to the NE Seattle-Meadowbrook community. In these very different and hopeful times, the community and the hosts have now welcomed our guests full time, since March 2020. Can you help?
This has created an opportunity for community support for residents living here, short term, full time. Food resources and diet is limited, as one might expect. Your care and donation is greatly appreciated and needed.
Their food and meal needs are challenging with little or no income. Local support helps them maintain a healthy diet and emotional support during these challenging times. Please sign up, if you’re able. A donation table outside the community hall door is available and necessary when dropping off.
