This week in the community/ MCGO Orchard Upgrades

As the stewards of MCGO soak up the summer, the fruits and veggies are enjoying the long-awaited seasons rays. And, a recent freak storm brought down a major tree west of the north orchard trail that is slowly getting chopped up.

The recent upgrades involve neighbors of the park putting in a lot of hours moving soil, mulch, building fencing and donated stacking stone. A grape vine planting along the North Orchard trail benefits from a lot of the generous labor.

The long pollinator patch in front of the fig orchard is also getting an overhaul, along with the newly installed handcrafted wattle arched entrance. Looks great! Zinnias are out too, take a visit. Thanks neighbors.
