Upcoming dates at the Community Garden are part of a matching funds from a Neighborhood Grant and the Dept of Neighborhoods. MCGO needs people who have some time, energy and ability to move soil out of the productive garden bins. Replenishing with a mixture of compost, it will enable healthy harvests of all the good garden produce that benefits the Lake City Food Bank.
This past Sunday MCGO met to get the ball rolling. Located next to the beautiful Zinnia patch and the little yellow tennis balls bouncing around at the Nathan Hale Tennis Courts. Waldorf School, just up the street, will visit to help this coming week to do their part. Can you help too?
