A single mother of two, she has lived in Meadowbrook since 1995. She is a UW grad and postgrad in medicine. Having served in the Peace Corps in W. Africa she thinks of MC2 as an extension of the work she once did abroad. Gardening and reading are two of her hobbies. She has been on the board since 2007.
Missy has been on the board since 2019. She enjoys hiking, camping, boating and being outside with her husband and two kids. Missy works at Seattle Childrens as a NNP. She loves volunteering because of the personal connections that develop. And dreams of becoming fluent in Spanish.
Eli has lived in Meadowbrook since 2013 and grew up in southwest Washington. He teaches Mechanical Engineering at the University of Washington and enjoys bicycling, the outdoors, and spending time with his two daughters. He has been on the board since 2014.
Helped put MC2 on sound legal footing and coordinate with the Seattle Emergency Hub in Meadowbrook.
Aside from four years in Tacoma and a two-year stint in Salem, Chris has made NE Seattle her home since she was five years old. She earned a Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington and has worked in the nonprofit sector ever since. She has been working on the Lake City Holiday Project since 2004 and has served as program director since 2013. Chris is married with two college-age daughters and enjoys playing soccer and learning to golf, going to symphony and jazz concerts, singing, and playing the cello. She has been on the board since 2017.
