Partner Organizations

These organizations are the main partners that help us achieve our mission and we are grateful to be able to work with them.

Maple Leaf Lutheran Church members founded Meadowbrook Community CARE and they remain among our top financial backers. The church also allows us to use their space for storage and organizing during the Lake City Holiday Project and they host the SHARE shelter in their basement.

Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR), along with their supporting nonprofit partner, Advisory Recreation Councils (ARC), engage communities at each SPR Community Center. Through this process, MC2 works to support MCGO, engage larger communities who serve and support resilience in community projects at Meadowbrook.

The English Language Learning tutor program (3rd-5th grade) operates in partnership with the after school programming at the Olympic Hills Elementary/Seattle Public Schools.

Since 1996 this self-managed nightly shelter at Maple Leaf Lutheran Church has welcomed previously homeless residents to the church. The historic impact of Covid-19 has opened the doors full-time, to support and provide safe haven during the pandemic.

Solid Ground Magnuson a primary registration partner for the Lake City Holiday Project.

Low Income Housing Institute at the Meadowbrook View Apartments is one of our primary registration partners for the Lake City Holiday Project.

North Helpline is a primary registration partner for the Lake City Holiday Project. We support their Empty Bowls initiative every year. We exchange insights, information and other resources throughout the year. MC2 cares for, plans and helps deliver locally grown food from Meadowbrook Community Gardens and Orchards throughout the growing season to the local food bank.

The North Seattle Family Center is a primary registration partner for the Lake City Holiday Project. They also use their wide communications network to procure sponsors for the project.
